Sheple and Candle:
One Couple’s Spiritual Journey towards Thinness
They’d tried all the diets and they managed to evade every one. They hired a nutrition consultant, Madame Philomena, and she fired them in despair due to their non-compliance. They tried 12-step programs, only to take three steps into the donut shop and 2 steps into the French fries stand. They worried, they wondered, and they ate.
They tried to trick their fellow-dieters at Camp Knockitoff. See photo below of Sheple and Candle going to the “Summer Reckoning” in 2005 at Camp Knockitoff.
Then, when they hit rock bottom, they were ready to take a leap of faith and commit themselves to FOLLLOW THE SBD(tm).Taking a page out of the Book of Sveltitude, they enrolled in the SBD seminary in northern Maine. The two of them were so diligent and knocked off so many pounds that they soon were admitted to the clergy and as you can see in the two photos below, they have found their new vocation.

They received their new names and are now helping others to FOLLOW THE SBD ™ at fast food outlets and shopping malls throughout Maine. This is their mission – and they do give autographs!
